Viset Niyom was found by Khun Pin Jhan Vichasorn (Niyomhed) and Luang Jham Vichasorn in 1921 at their home by Khlong Bang Luang Canal. During the time, boats were the means for getting around.

Khun Pin endlessly searching until discovered the cure for her husband, Luang Jham’s chronic scurvy illness from Ja-meun Sittisanyaruk, the Thai traditional medicine doctor at Baan Somdej Chao Phraya school. Ja-meun Sitthsanyarak treasured Khun Pin’s passionate dedication to helping others then granted her the formulary.

At the National Scout conference during the reign of King Rama VII’s, Khun Pin & Luang Jham gave away Viset Niyom toothpowder to all scout participants. The worth-of-mouth started to flourish since then until today beyond generations, over the centuries, Viset Niyom’s classic yellow color sachets have been rooted throughout leading supermarkets, drugstores, and convenient stores recognized as Thailand’s first toothpaste brand.

VISET NIYOM Toothpaste has been expand and moved to new factory located on Sukhumnit 79, Bangkok in 1955. Pin and Luang Jamvichasorn was donate their property, Khlong Bang Luang Resident to build a primary school.

Khun Pin and Luang Jham donated their land to build The Thai Red Cross Health Station serving as blood donation center as well as general medical services such as ophthalmic surgery, dentistry, or vaccination.
